Ameland has several major events throughout the year. A recurring theme among the events is the sporting element. But culture and art events can also be found on the island.

Events
In March it starts with the MTB tour, in June Beach Rugby, in July Beach Volleyball, in September it's time again for Triambla Op Ameland, in October the walking tour between Sand and Silt and in December der AdventureRun. These events attract lots of participants who fully enjoy the island's nature. They are wonderful events all over the island. They are always fun for spectators to enjoy too.
